Ms Nathalie Farrugia currently works as Chief Officer Corporate Relations at Malta Enterprise, the economic development agency of the Government of Malta. Malta Enterprise is also responsible for the administration and running of the Malta Life Sciences Park. Ms Farrugia advises the CEO on key matters, follows local and foreign clients and is also responsible for corporate relations with other local and foreign stakeholders.
Before taking this position, Ms Farrugia was the Chief Officer Investment Promotion where she was responsible to identify and attract foreign direct investment into Malta. In this role, Ms Farrugia led a team which was responsible for key economic sectors including life sciences, advanced manufacturing, digital technology, aviation and education and training.
Ms Farrugia has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, as she worked as a Business Development Manager for a local manufacturing company where she was responsible for the international efforts and export development of the company, with a particular focus on the North African region.
In the past years, Ms Nathalie Farrugia has gained significant experience in business development, client relationship management and policy development. Ms Farrugia is a graduate from the University of Malta and the University of Aberdeen.
