Mediterranean-Europe Investment Partnerships for a Resilient Future

As Cyprus assumes the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2026, Invest Cyprus proposes the organisation of a high-level Regional Investment Forum that will bring together public and private sector leaders from across Europe, the Mediterranean, and Africa. This initiative aims to leverage Cyprus’s strategic position as a bridge between regions and as a platform for investment cooperation aligned with the EU’s strategic priorities.

In a global context marked by increasing instability and conflict zones, strengthening economic cooperation becomes an imperative for resilience. This Forum emphasizes that maintaining trade links and shared investments is an essential lever for regional stability and security. The Forum will serve as a flagship event within the framework of the presidency, positioning Cyprus as a regional facilitator and a thought leader in shaping the future of cross-border investment partnerships, innovation, and sustainable development.

The theme of the Forum: “EUROMED DAYS – Connecting Regions, Empowering Growth: Mediterranean-Europe Investment Partnerships for a Resilient Future”, captures the spirit of cross-regional collaboration, resilience-building, and forward-looking investment strategies. It supports the EU’s Global Gateway strategy and the green and digital twin transitions while highlighting Cyprus’s role in facilitating impactful cooperation.

This event will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ANIMA Investment Network, marking two decades of continuous commitment to economic development and cooperation in the Mediterranean.
